An agroforestry carbon farming starter pack To simplify and link agricultural tree-planting interventions.

A proposal from EURAF for all Member States to adopt a simple “starter pack” of agricultural tree-planting measures to “kick start” the four phases of agroforestry carbon farming: i) an ecoscheme to design planting and undertake baseline soil measurements in yr 0; ii) tree planting and protection investment in year 1; iii) agri-environmental support for maintenance in years 2-5; iv) adoption into an EU-recognised voluntary carbon farming certification scheme from year 6 onwards.
